Future Additions

(Possible) Future additions:

-Airsoft or paintball gun with pan/tilt

DONE-Tube launched model rocket with tilt

DONE-Lights

-Turbo button (dump another 12v into motors for a few seconds)

-Treads on tires / real tires

-Sensors (we have installed an optical shaft encoder on the rocket tube. I want to feed that data into a javascript calculator to estimate the distance that the rocket will travel given that angle.)

-Control via keyboard (use arrow keys or WASD to drive the rover by capturing keystrokes with Javascript and passing it to PHP. I am about halfway to getting this working).

-Failsafe (Need to check to make sure wifi is in range and there are no problems. Primarily to stop the rover from running off and making us chase it.)

-GPS (Will help with autonomous mode and let us map wifi access points and stuff.)

-WokFi/WiFry: use asian cookware (like large woks) as parabolic antennas to dramatically extend the range of the rover. There’s a lot of hacking being done in this area, and I’d like to try to apply it.
